Ingredients

  • 9.8 oz Mutti® Cherry Tomatoes (Ciliegini)
  • 9.8 oz pork loin
  • 2 tbsp Mutti® Double Concentrated Tomato Paste (Doppio Concentrato)
  • 2 large onions
  • 2 oz fatty bacon
  • 4 oz lard
  • 4-5 leaves sage
  • chopped tarragon (fresh or dried)
  • salt
  • pepper

Pork Hot Pot made with Tomato Paste: Method

  1. Cut the pork loin into fairly large chunks
  2. Fry the meat in a pan with the coarsely chopped onions, lard and fatty bacon until it is well browned
  3. Add Mutti® Cherry Tomatoes (Ciliegini), and Mutti® Double Concentrated Tomato Paste (Doppio Concentrato) previously diluted with some hot water
  4. Season with salt and pepper, and add the tarragon and sage
  5. Cook the hotpot for 1 hour
  6. Serve pork hot pot with rice
