  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 1/4 cup pistachios
  • 2 Tbsp. of white sesame oil
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar

How to prepare

  1. Toast all of the nuts in an oven.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the sugar, lemon juice and a few tablespoons of water in a pan for 20 minutes until it is carmelized.
  3. Coarsely chop half the toasted nuts, then mix all of the nuts together with the sugar and tomato paste.
  4. Quickly pour the crunchy nougat onto a sheet of parchment paper. Cover with another sheet of parchment and roll flat.
  5. Allow to cool and serve with ice cream.
