Mutti® Finely Chopped Tomatoes (Polpa) are made with just two ingredients - sun-ripened 100% Italian tomatoes from the Emilia Romagna region and a pinch of Mediterranean sea salt. Picked when perfectly ripe, cold crushed, and processed with our patented technique to capture the flavor of just-harvested tomatoes. So remarkably fresh, you can try them straight from the can! Excellent for a fast tomato sauce, gazpacho, or even bruschetta.

The cans are filled with pulp at a temperature of approx. 80°C. They are then closed and pasteurized at 90°C for about an hour.
