- 28 g Mutti Tomato Sauce
- 2 bay leaves
- 10 leaves of basil
- 100 ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 70 ml fresh cream
- 200 g Parmesan cheese
- 160 g chopped onion
- Salt and pepper
In a casserole, brown the onion with olive oil and bay leaves.
Add Mutti Tomato Sauce and chopped basil leaves, then cook for 10 minutes over low heat.
Run sauce through the food processor.
Slightly heat the fresh cream and add to the tomato sauce, then season with salt and pepper. Serve hot with croutons and grated Parmesan cheese.
